RULES

I have quite a few rules, but don't worry yourself too much here. I try to be as lenient as possible with their enforcing. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these rules, please don't hesitate to contact me. The email is iewwrestling@hotmail.com

General Rules:

1.) Have fun, this is a game.

2.) Don't do anything out of character that causes someone else to not have fun.

3.) You must roleplay at least once a week, even if not booked.  Two weeks without roleplaying in a row will result in jobbing badly, probation, suspension or release from the IEW. Exceptions only if handler contacts management ahead of time. You are limited to one roleplay a day, if you post multiple rp's in one day we will take your best. Also, strats will not be accepted by those who do not roleplay.

4.) Matches are judged by the following in order: 1) Roleplays, 2) Strats, 3) Workrate.

5.) All roleplays are to be posted directly to the roleplay board.

6.) Do not use a character that is not yours without the other character's handler's permission. If you have the permission of the other handler, both of you need to email me at iewwrestling@hotmail.com letting me know. NOTE: if you are doing a sneak attack sort of strat, the other handler's permission is NOT required, but is highly advisable.

7.) Also, do not attack anybody in your roleplays.  This includes bystanders, other wrestlers, characters handled by someone other than you, celebrities, or any other fictional character you are using in your roleplay other than your wrestler and/or manager.

8.) Do not use real life celebrities in your roleplays. Their likenesses are copyrighted and they IEW could be forced to close over improper usage of their likenesses.

9.) There will be no Out Of Character replies on the roleplay board

10.) There will be no posts made on the OOC Board with references to anything on the Rp Board unless it involves your own character or encouragement for a fellow handler. The OOC board is intended for handlers to ask on how to improve their roleplaying skills as well as share their daily comments.

11.) There is to be no bickering on the OOC boards. It is not uncommon in wrestling for people to not always get along, but please do not draw the fed into your personal matters. All parties who do not comply will be subject to immediate removal from the IEW or other repercussions.

12,) Do NOT use insider terms in your roleplays.  That means words like jobber, heel, etc.

13.) The deadlines will be listed on the line-up page.

14.) If you have a problem with the fed, policies, handlers, or anything else fed related email me.  I will deal with the problems privately. Do not post your problems or gripes on the OOC board or the RP board. I will deal with these occurrences as I see fit.

15.) Anyone who writes their own match and unfairly squashes or attacks post-match their opponents without permission of the opposing handler or the decisions committee will be subject to punishment by the character(s) which they handle and put over unfairly being rebooked against those they wrote unfairly against in which a reverse squash will occur.

16) DO NOT complain if/when you lose a match.  EVERYONE eventually loses, and my opinion may differ from yours.  Complaining will get you nowhere but buried fast.

17) All match changes must be approved by all handlers involved and the fedhead.

18) One roleplay per card must be in a traditional wrestling promo style.

Punishments
(in order of severity)
Warning

Unless stated otherwise in the rules, a warning will be issued to all first offenses. If the warning is not heeded other punishments may follow.

Jobbing

If problems persist after warning, you will be forced to lose your next match even if you out-roleplay your opponent. If you are a champion, your title will be dropped to your feuding opponent. If your feuding opponent is involved with rules violations as well, the highest ranking contender as seen in the eyes of the IEW will be booked against you in a match you will lose and they will be named the champion. Continues violations will result in additonal jobbing and/or probation.

Release

Handlers who are released from the IEW still have permission to use the OOC board. However, further violation of the rules will result in your being banned from fed communication.

Banned From Fed Communication

If you have made it this far, you have committed numerous serious offenses against the IEW, even as a non-member. You are now banned from using the Roleplay and OOC boards until you show considerable changes in attitude to the management and handlers of the IEW. Further violation of these rules will result in a permanent ban from the IEW.

Permanent Ban

You will no longer be able to re-join the IEW with your current or future characters. All violators will be released immediately upon awareness.
